Ivrea Cream contains the active ingredient Ivermectin (typically 1 %) and is indicated for the topical treatment of inflammatory facial skin conditions such as Rosacea.Ivrea Cream 30 gm works through anti-parasite and anti-inflammatory mechanisms: by targeting mites or other microscopic parasites in the skin and reducing redness, swelling and breakout of pus-filled bumps. Before application, the affected area should be cleaned and dried. A thin film of the cream is then applied once daily to the affected facial areas, avoiding eyes, lips, nostrils and mucous membranes. Hands should be washed before and after application. Treatment may need to be continued for several weeks (commonly 4 weeks or more) until improvement is seen. Common side-effects include local skin irritation, burning or itching at the site of application; these are usually mild and transient. The product is for external use only and should not be ingested. It is not recommended for children under 18, or for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding without medical supervision.
